Opportunity Description
Finance Manager needed for a direct hire position in Valhalla, NY in the consumer products manufacturers industry. As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the operations of payroll, accounts payable, travel & expense, intercompany invoicing, and shared programs.

Job Duties
- Supervise Accounts Payable: process covers the complete cycle from vendor master maintenance through procurement and vendor invoice processing.
- Supervise Master Data: Develop and utilize Share Point to create and update customers and vendors data.
- Supervise Intercompany Invoicing Process: intercompany invoicing for the supported subsidiaries, create monthly invoices, posting into ERP system, printing, scanning and emailing invoices.
- Supervise Travel related activities: Administration of travel or any other personnel reimbursement and insurance of the compliance to the related company policies. Posting of all month end journal entries associated with expense reporting.
- Supervise bi-weekly Payroll function: Assure employees are paid properly, associated government reporting and tax payments are done and salary and related expenses are recorded in the companies’ books properly.
- Manage Accounting for Shared Programs: Maintain benefit programs in accordance with audit and DOL standards. It also provides the Benefits Committee with information needed to review and minimize costs of plans and to assure the company offers the best plans available for that cost.
- Review and maintain insurance program to limit company exposure in various ways from property insurance, workers comp, fidelity, product liability etc.
Education
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience and knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Previous experience and knowledge of SAP is preferred.
