Opportunity Description

The successful SCCPM is a skilled project manager and team leader, has knowledge of hospital supply chains in all areas of the hospital, is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, is well organized, and is comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with senior business executives, clinicians, and inventory technicians. A successful Supply Chain Project Manager will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships, have a collaborative approach in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills and hold themselves accountable to the highest level of standards.

Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMP Certification a plus.

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates depth and breadth of project management experience
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and relevant clinical and IT operations
  • Manages implementation projects independently in a more complex environment
  • Facilitates strategic decisions to optimize implementation projects specific to the management of scope, financials, and schedule
  • Anticipates project risks and develops mitigation strategies/plans for more complex risk factors
  • Serves as a resource and/or mentor to team and less experienced project managers
  • Presents and communicates projects to senior level business management
  • Resolves conflicts across project team members and customers without functional intervention
  • Influences internal and external customer expectations to ensure that expectations are aligned


  • Undergrad required
  • Advanced degree preferred

Experience & Skills Required

  • 6-8 years of experience in related field
  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
  • Works on or may manage complex projects of large scope
  • Projects may have significant and long-term impact
  • Provides solutions which may set precedent
  • Independently determines method for completion of new projects
  • Receives guidance on overall project objectives
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
