Opportunity Description

Senior Demand Planner needed for a direct-hire position in the Luxury Goods industry. 

Job Duties

  • Monitor, present, discuss and improve SLA and stock KPIs
  • Review demand forecasts and lead times on a weekly basis to adjust inventory levels and place purchase orders to replenish the local stock
  • Work collaboratively with Key Account Customers to gain visibility over future demand and grand openings
  • Review requirements and place purchase orders for make-to-order items
  • Liaise proactively with the Customer Service Dept. in case of discrepancies, delays, order postponements or wrong warehouse assignment
  • Support management in assuring the proper governance of stock management
  • Manage new product phase-in and discontinued product phase-out to minimize out-of-stock and obsolescence
  • Analyze historical trends and seasonality by product family to anticipate demand
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with suppliers on product issues, shipments, and availability
  • Work in alignment and in cooperation with HQ Demand Planning Dept
  • Update master data and vendor data
  • D&I costs on Sales (total country)
  • Inventory Write-Off (value)
  • Rotation Index Finished Product WH (total country)

Experience & Skills Required

  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP recommended)
  • 8-10 years of experience in Demand Planning
  • MS Office advanced user
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent follow-up
