Customer Service Specialist

Job Duties

  • Manages day-to-day relationships with US customers; owns all customer service activities and processes
  • Fields, manages, and resolves customer inquiries (e.g., pricing list requests, new customer setup, late delivery, status requests, wrong product or quantity delivered, etc.) 
  • Track Key metrics related to the performance by customer and report metrics to supply chain
  • Develop and Distribute sales order reporting 
  • Works closely with sales, inventory and supply chain to resolve customer issues
  • Receive and process orders for customers globally via EDI and customer service email inbox 
  • Reconcile and resolve issues with customer EDI (as needed)
  • Create credit and/or debit memos to customers and oversees reverse logistics processes
  • Lead transition of customer service and billing activities during the transition of Order to Cash activities to the third party
  • Develops, implements and refines best-in-class customer service processes, metrics, and tools
  • Coordinates and provides technical and product support to customers


  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

Experience & Skills Required

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a similar environment
  • Consumer Goods experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables lookups) able to manipulate data 
  • Familiar with MS PowerPoint to present results 
  • Experience with an ERP, SAP preferred
