Opportunity Description

Returns and Accounts Receivable Analyst (Pharma) needed for an opening in Bridgewater, NJ. 

Job Duties

  • Daily download of EDI transactions from Fulton bank and application of payments by recording cash, checks and ACH payments against invoices and credits
  • Weekly review of the aging report to identify delinquent customer accounts and follow up on payments
  • Sort out payments and compile segments of monthly closing
  • Verifies the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service department and from customers
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deduction procedures and customer follow up
  • Spreadsheet reconciliation
  • Compiling data and prepare a variety of reports in Excel
  • Entering data into ERP system
  • Send reminders to customers regarding upcoming payment dues and statements to outstanding customers
  • If necessary, issuing credit memos
  • Maintain close working relationship with US Finance team to ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices, credit and debit Memos to customers

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Understanding of generic pharmaceutical industry, product flow and reimbursement and accounts receivable
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as job responsibilities include communicating with various levels of management within and outside of the company
  • The position demands the ability to respond to a high volume of work with a high level of intensity dictated by the requirement for absolute accuracy within the expedited turnaround time
  • Success in this position requires extraordinarily high attention to detail and organization with a high degree of follow up & follow-through are necessary to keep all tasks prioritized
  • Ability to collaborate, work independently and work closely with US Finance department
  • High ethical standard
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
