Opportunity Description

 Manager Your Role This position is responsible for all aspects of local US IT in the company, including but not limited to helpdesk support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network, office, and business-specific applications. Responsible for oversight of local infrastructure and project management for upgrades, additions, and all local IT projects. Acts as the point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, PC and peripherals; seeks improvements to client operations and helpdesk processes; and provides quality customer service and training to end-users. Responsible for IT asset management, documentation, vendor coordination, and IT project support and coordination. 1st Line/2nd Line End-User Support & Workstation Management Provide internal helpdesk support for employees, for Windows OS, MS Office (current versions), and document processing software/systems i.e. Adobe, SharePoint, Documentum, etc. Respond to, record, track, and close tickets through service desk . Maintain all IT documentation, including Helpdesk FAQs, network diagrams, etc. Provision computers using Microsoft SCCM for new employees/contractors, prepare all new user accounts, hardware and software assignments, document, de-provision users (employee exits) Troubleshoot computer hardware, software or network issues Installs and supports computer (client and server) software and network equipment. Work with the other members of the IT team, globally and locally, to provide support and enforce IT policies. Work with vendors to resolve issues, implement/upgrade services, and manage services. Project Management & Support Manages and/or supports local projects, such as network infrastructure, and end-user device upgrades, as assigned; communicates status updates regularly to stakeholders, including but not limited to Dept. Head. Support global projects. Resolve problems with Network or Infrastructure identified by the monitoring system under guidance from Regional Administrator. Understands and troubleshoots as-needed issues with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc. Assists with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including VOIP telephone setup, coordinate with 3rd party vendors as needed Security Systems (Primary): Manage Door entry system and CCTV system. Responsible for complete and accurate asset management, including software licenses, software audits, hardware, and other IT supplies. Assists with the purchase of software, hardware, and other IT supplies. Evaluates new applications when required and produces business case to support the purchasing decision-making process. Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment, and maintains knowledge database for systems documentation, user guides, FAQs, etc. Training & Knowledge Management Coordinates activities to support staff training for all departments. Sets up and maintains the training material. Conducts training sessions for users as required. Trains users in learning new applications and assists in problem-solving for application issues. Supports global IT projects as needed. Stays up to date on the latest information relevant to CPUSA/Chugai systems, including security and network risks/updates, software patches Network Administration (Regional Secondary, Local Primary) Domain Administrator (Secondary) Support and maintain Windows 2016 Active Directory, Office 365, and Single Sign-On. Manage Active Directory Objects (Users, Groups, Contacts, and Computers) (Primary) Maintain DNS and DHCP (Secondary) Manage IPSec VPN between Primary and Data Center (Secondary). Manage Ethernet Switches (Secondary). Manage SAN / NAS Appliances (Secondary). Maintain corporate firewalls (Secondary).
