Opportunity Description

We are currently partnered with a premier global organization in the greater Danbury area that is looking to add a Business Systems Analyst to their IT team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant business system support experience, focusing on learning and supporting business applications. This position will play a crucial role in supporting a critical information system for the company's global business. 

Job Duties

Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the globa business application process, including various internal applications and system interfaces
  • Work with end users on applying business applications 
  • Perform troubleshooting as required and participate in problem-solving efforts of application issues and interface issues as reported by end users
  • Monitor, update, and follow-up on issues reported inreporting software
  • Report and track confirmed issues with application supplier
  • Test application fixes and new releases to ensure quality and usability forend users
  • Aid in reviews of technical system documentation pertaining tosystem interfaces
  • Complete assigned tasks for varioussystem related projects

Experience & Skills Required

Business Systems Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related Business field
  • 5 years experience supporting business applications; system support, testing, and systems analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business processes and related systems
  • Familiarity withvarious ERP, CRM and Reporting related systems
  • Understanding of software development and software quality assurance
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks effectively on schedule
