Opportunity Description
We are currently searching for a skilled Business Data Analyst for an exciting opportunity to join a repuable company in Fairfield County, CT. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in data analysis, business analysis, programming and have strong hands-on technical skills wih various reporting packages, databases and languages.

Job Duties
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Gain understanding of the structure, policies and operations of the company to recommend solutions for improvement of processes and increased automation
- Analyzing and understanding trends in data and, based on analysis and insights, create strategies to increase efficiencies
- Responsible for developing and analyzing KPI's for different departments
- Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. in order to provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
- Streamline data accuracy and the process of collecting and reporting of data to minimize manual intervention
- Compile, analyze, interpret and present data to support managerial decision making, reporting and compliance
- Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Identify and define data quality improvements
- Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis
Experience & Skills Required
Data Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Business related or Analytical field
- 5+ years of relevant data, business analysis or programming experience
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and challenge information/assumptions from multiple sources to produce clear requirement documentation
- Excellent listener who can facilitate working meetings and ask the right questions to identify issues
- Demonstrable experience having worked on organizational process improvement projects that have completed a full project lifecycle
- Prior experience at facilitating a shared understanding of problems across business and technology areas
- Strong knowledge of various business reporting packages, databases and programming languages
- Strong skills in MS Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A critical thinker and problem solver
- Able to work in the United States with no sponsorship required at any point in the future
