Opportunity Description

The Sales Support Administrator provides superior customer service to our client base and strong operational support to internal teams. You will utilize your sense of urgency and your knowledge of global logistics services to ensure Best in Class service to the customer. This position will further increase customer satisfaction and business share through regular, proactive contact with customers in your regards.

Job Duties

  • Ensure internal and external KPIs and operational process standards are met per SOP’s
  • Set the standard for outstanding customer service and ensure that all internal and external parties’ expectations are met
  • Assist Sales in compiling quotes by providing rates, updating tariffs and auto rating
  • Assist Sales with account set-up, i.e., Credit Approval, POAs, NDAs, Internal Work Instructions and Customer SOPs
  • Monitor exception accounts and make sure overdue shipments are taken care of and status is communicated to the RBDM and customer daily
  • Provide Spot Quotes directly to customers based on set requirements to meet margin goals and win business
  • Maintain 24-hour response time for customer inquiries

Experience & Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive to create efficiencies within a culture of continuous improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the Logistics industry in a customer service or operational role
  • Prior sales support experience preferred
  • Familiarity with CargoWise’s Enterprise system a plus
