Opportunity Description

Our client is hiring for a Medical Office Coordinator in Brooklyn, New York. This is a contract position with a health care organization where you will assist the Medical Department in promoting health care compliance and supervising of medical department office operations. This position offers between $20-$22/hour, depending on experience.

Job Duties

As the Medical Office Coordinator, you will:

  • Organize and manage documentation flow with pharmacy requests
  • Billing/coding procedures on daily basis
  • Coordinate clinic schedules, and chaperone youth to the appointments as needed
  • Generate monthly clinic reports
  • Generate prescription cards on as needed basis
  • Complete and maintain various databases on regular basis
  • Record office attendance in E-time (Daily)
  • Coordinate office meetings/events schedules
  • Front desk coverage on as needed basis
  • Manage stock of office supplies
  • Complete, mail and/or distribute correspondence



  • Degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Adminstration or Medical Assistant certificate preferred. 

Experience & Skills Required


  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Prior medical office experience with some medical billing knowledge REQUIRED
  • EMR experience
