Opportunity Description

The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Implementation Specialist is responsible for application training, implementation support, and post-go-live optimization process for physicians, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Responsibilities include curriculum development, creation of training materials, application build, application testing, issue investigation, problem resolution, practice EMR optimization and promotion of training sessions. The primary focus of this role is the implementation, ongoing training, and workflow optimization.

Our client is a large multi-specialty Medical Center located in Stamford, CT.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include curriculum development, creation of training materials, application build, application testing, issue investigation, problem resolution, practice EMR optimization of eCW, and promotion of training sessions. The primary focus of this role is the implementation, ongoing training, and workflow optimization.

 

 

Education

·       Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in education, nursing, healthcare-related field, or a computer science/information technology/informatics-related field with 5 years of experience in healthcare.

Experience & Skills Required

·       Experience with eClinicalWorks application is strongly preferred.

·       Effective oral and written communication skills. Expertise in healthcare business processes and associated clinical application software. Knowledge of MS Office. Ability to effectively motivate clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.

·       Quickly learn new computer applications and apply computer-based concepts to clinical processes. Ensure the integrity of data and maintain confidentiality of all related information.
