Opportunity Description

The Administrative Nurse Manager role at a world-renowned long-term care organization located in Riverdale - North Bronx, directs the day-to-day functions of the nursing unit activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. The shift hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am including every other weekend.

Job Duties

The Administrative Nurse Manager will manage and supervise staff and ensure staff competencies in the delivery of high-quality care. Collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Managers, Resident Service Coordinators, and other disciplines for all interdisciplinary activities.

Education

Must possess a current NYS RN license and registration. Associate’s degree in nursing with experience as a charge nurse required. Management experience in a hospital, long term care facility or other related medical facility preferred

Experience & Skills Required

Strong clinical competencies, communications and writing skills and the ability to manage staff and resources are essential. Must have knowledge of federal and state regulations. Bachelor’s Degree or MSN from an accredited university preferred.
