• Provide expert-level support for our GE MUSE or Philips PACS systems, ensuring their smooth operation, availability, and performance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges related to medical imaging.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PACS software, including updates, patches, and integrations with other systems.
• Perform routine system audits and monitor PACS performance to proactively identify and address any issues or potential bottlenecks.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve complex PACS-related problems promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal patient care.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to PACS configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior PACS support staff, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with vendor support and engineering teams to escalate and resolve advanced technical issues that require vendor assistance.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in PACS systems to drive innovation and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical PACS issues.
