One of the top Publishing Companies is in need of an organized Administrative Assistant to join their Editorial Department. If you are someone who is interested in publishing and has strong attention to detail please apply ASAP. The assignment will be for a few months. Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm

- Provide administrative backup to select editors and Publishing Director, including but not limited to data entry and database updates.
- Drafting memos, P&Ls, and contract paperwork
- Maintaining author files, review quotes, and records
- Assisting with contractual payments and processing invoices
- Managing department workflow and calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing and submitting expense reports
Experience & Skills Required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Photoshop required
- Must be highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented with proven ability to set priorities under pressure and multi-task
- Publishing / Editorial experience
