Job Duties

  • Schedules appointments and arranges meetings, conferences, and travel.
  • Organizes and maintains correspondence and records, following up on pending matters
  • General administrative duties 
  • Tracks and updates property acquisition activity schedule.
  • Coordinates with project team, Finance Department, Consultants, etc., to gather relevant information to maintain and update the Project Cost Tracking Schedule (Excel), ensuring timely recording and reporting of all receipts and disbursements associated with the Project’s property acquisitions.
  • Assists in updating monthly summary reports/schedules, as required.
  • Updates an overlay of the Project Bubble Map, as parcels are acquired.
  • Coordinates the review, approval and payment of all disbursements relating to the acquisition process.
  • Initiates payment and monitors requests and approvals for deposits to escrow accounts or the courts and direct payments to owners, counsel, and court appointed commissioners.
  • Maintains acquisitions files, by parcel, including original documents and hard copies of all documents utilized in the acquisition process.
  • Crates and maintains log of legal invoices and routes same for review, approval, and payment.
  • Performs project related administrative tasks, including research and schedule updates, and completes special projects, as needed.

Education

High School Diploma, or equivalent

Experience & Skills Required

  • Six years of applied experience in the real estate field.  
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, and word processing software, such as Word, required.  
  • Preferred:       Paralegal certificate; 5+ years of experience handling real estate transaction matters.
