Opportunity Description
The Staff Accountant will perform various accounting duties in the manufacturing environment. The candidate must be a team player who is focused, dedicated, and willing to learn.

- Support month-end close process including journal entry preparation.
- Analyze and prepare account reconciliations, including Inter-company balancing.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Point of Contact for AP processes and serve as liaison with IQ Backoffice and vendor network.
- Capital expenditure tracking, analysis, and depreciation schedule.
- Prepare sales commission and royalty schedules.
- Support inventory review and cycle count processes.
- Reconcile credit card statements with supporting documents.
- Prepare revenue recognition analysis.
- Work closely and effectively with multiple levels of the organization.
- Compile complex reports using Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Perform other duties as required

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance or Business Administration.
Experience & Skills Required
- 2-6 years of accounting with preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, with ability to work with a wide variety of people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, sumif & lookup functions
- Experience with integrated ERP solutions and office productivity applications.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks timely.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
