Job Duties

  • Compound fragrances based on provided recipes and specifications.
  • Utilize technical skills to operate and maintain fragrance compounding equipment and systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring timely procurement and replenishment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing for raw materials.
  • Utilize computer skills for data analysis, inventory tracking, and documentation management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in fragrance compounds.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Fragrance Compounder or similar role within the fragrance industry.
  • Proficiency in compounding techniques.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot compounding equipment.
  • Experience in purchasing raw materials, managing inventory, and supplier relationships.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of inventory and formulary management software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
