A large healthcare Facility in Westchester, NY is going through construction/remodeling/addition in their facilities in need of an experienced Facilities IT PM for a 3-year long-term contract.

Experience managing IT Projects in HOSPITAL construction or large remodeling is a MUST

Job Duties

• 40/hour week or full-time onsite experienced PM  to fulfill the following needs:

o New building/ new construction with Clinical and Non-clinical spaces is going be constructed and the PM will be responsible for analyzing providers need and ideal workflow to create efficient, modern, and beautiful spaces on tight timelines and on time, and on budget. 

o The ideal candidate will communicate directly within the hospital and external vendors as required for task coordination.

o Weekly status and task reporting on all facilities' IT work

o Act as internal liaison for the facility and be an extension of the internal IT team

o Asset and documentation management to cover existing locations and new locations.  This will be a joint effort with the ongoing design work.

o Primary coordinator for IT with regards to a newly built space which is being built to of double the hospital capacity for hundreds of procedures and clinical encounters. This includes but is not limited to:

? Coordinate and keep hospital stakeholders privy to current and relevant status updates every week.

? Coordinate with external and third-party vendors on technology initiatives

? Create documentation for technology scope for RFP//RFQ purposes 

? Schedule meetings/visits and attend all virtually with required parties as necessary to meet deadlines

? Develop technical documentation

? Management of procurement and inventory 

? Take part in the temporary relocation of current employees and new ones to  to new space

? Coordinate all project steps to IT Infrastructure and Applications current staff to integrate new and existing systems flawlessly.

 

Education

Bachelors' Degree

PMP preferred

Experience & Skills Required

The specific person would have the following skillset:

• Highly organized and capable to manage multiple vendors

• Very strong oral and written communications

• Ability to understand the healthcare and clinical spaces a MUST

• Ability to speak in laymen's terms to end-users or non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to craft technical scopes of work documentation for bidding purposes

• Ability to level multiple bids across various technological sectors

• Basic understanding of networking, audiovisuals and desktop/laptop computing in a clinical setting.
