Opportunity Description

This key role within the Finance Department will be responsible for day-to-day tasks that will ensure the proper functioning of the department as well as our ability to ensure that financial results are reported accurately, timely, and in compliance with US GAAP. Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing of company-wide invoices, achieving or exceeding targets for Accounts Payable

Job Duties

  • Resolves AP processing exceptions by working with the appropriate external and internal contacts.
  • Primary responsibility related to preparing and filing Form 1099
  • Research vendor inquires and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning invoice status and payments.
  • Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
  • Analyze government program rebates and maintain the corresponding filing and documentation.
  • Assist in customer invoicing.
  • Monitors and investigates Returns and Damages
  • Opens cases for shipment errors (Overages and Shortages)
  • Monitors and tracks the cases to make sure they are closed in a timely manner. Maintain a Shortage / Returns Tracker to monitor all damaged & saleable Returns.
  • Create Disputes in Customer Portal for all rejected claims and track the dispute.
  • Update disposition for all RMA’s and ensure the products are dispositioned in a timely manner by 3PL.
  • Works closely with AR team to make sure the proper credits and debits are issued.
  • Monitors and reconciles inventory between the 3PL WMS and Ajanta ERP (NetSuite)
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and makes the proper inventory adjustment.
  • Monitor and track claims with UPS for all lost or damaged shipments.
  • Work closely with the Expired Returns team on Products returned to the 3PL for destruction

Education

Associates degree or BS/BA degree in accounting or business from a four-year accredited university or college.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 1 year of related accounting experience required.
  • Ability to learn new things quickly and work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Experienced with Accounting Software - NetSuite preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookup, Macros, If Statements, Formulas)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Generic Pharma preferred.
