Opportunity Description
HumanEdge has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executuve Chef. This is a 6 month contract.
Job Duties
- Develop innovative processes to enhance quality of food and customer satisfaction in both retail services and patient services.
- Directs and oversees menu development, food quality and variety, food preparation and presentation, safety and sanitation.
- Establishes and monitors food quality standards to ensure consistency and highest quality standards
- Manage culinary staff
Experience & Skills Required
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited culinary school with CEC from ACF or other comparable affiliations preferred.
- Food Safety Certificate as required per California Health Code.
- 5-7 relevant management experience working as a corporate executive chef, school/hospital executive chef, or equivalent in a large, dynamic restaurant/hospitality environment.
- Experience in the research, development and implementation of new food products that anticipate and are responsive to multi-cultural patient and retail customers' desired food experience.
- Experienced in marketing the food experience and creating menu with innovation and flair.
- Proficient in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software programs.
