Design and implement operational strategies to transition the company to significant scale, focusing on process optimization, quality, cost efficiency, productivity, and scalable infrastructure
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor and improve all aspects of the business including supply chain, production, expenses, customer service, and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Partner with the CEO and CFO to allocate resources, manage P&L, and drive EBITDA improvements through data-driven decisions
  • With the CFO oversee budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation, focusing on maintaining double-digit YOY growth
  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of all operational activities across multiple service locations
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement Lead cross-functional teams to streamline product development cycles, reduce expenses, and increase productivity
 
  • Collaborate with creative teams, CEO, and CFO to balance aesthetic innovation with cost-effective manufacturing and distribution processes
  • Drive operational excellence across all functions
  • Evaluate and upgrade ERP/CRM systems to support expansion and omnichannel sales
  • Design disaster recovery plans and contingency protocols
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies


 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field required; MBA preferred but not required

Experience & Skills Required

  • 10+ years in senior operations roles, with 3+ years scaling a business, preferably in the retail or related industries
  • Proven success in consumer goods, stationery, or adjacent industries
  • Exposure to design and creative processes a plus but not required
  • Financial Acumen: Expertise in margin analysis, inventory turnover optimization, and financial planning
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and change management skills
  • Process Engineering: Lean/Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement track record
  • Adaptability: Experience managing supply chain disruptions, demand fluctuations, and M&A integrations
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Decisive problem-solver with a bias for action
  • Data storyteller who can simplify complex metrics for cross-departmental alignment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Mentoring and coaching as a cornerstone to leadership style
